The Bengali Cultural Association started in the mid seventies and is registered charity here in the UK.
We are based in North-East London in the UK and we have one real goal,
to create a positive and fun experience of happiness,
friendship and harmony through our Bengali culture and heritage.
In the community we try to
- Create awareness of our Bengali identity and its cultural and religious heritage
- Celebrate fully all the Bengali religious festivals
- Organise cultural events encompassing Bengali and other Indian traditional and contemporary songs,drama and dances
- Promote the involvement of youth in our various programmes.
