The Bengali Cultural Association started in the mid seventies
and is registered charity here in the UK.
We are based in East London in the UK and we have
one real goal,
to create a positive and fun experience of happiness,
friendship and harmony through our Bengali culture and heritage.
In the community we try to
- Create awareness of our Bengali identity and its cultural and religious
heritage
- Celebrate fully all the Bengali religious festivals
- Organise cultural events encompassing Bengali and other Indian traditional
and contemporary songs, drama and dances
- Promote the involvement of youth in our various programmes.
